I think ordinary days can be the best. Nothing exciting or fabulous happens. Ordinary days are made up with the routine of work, family and friends however every day is different. I like just enough challenges to keep my brain sharp with problem solving. If one looks for joys and stays aware of small warm gifts you will find them. Maybe your coworkers were all pleasant and cooperative! If it is raining you just “happen” to see a rainbow. Let’s not fuss about being too busy or not busy enough. Understand the day. Just the day. I’m reminded of a chapter heading poem in Lizzie’s Journey:
We’re granted the time, we’re granted the day. We only receive what’s allowed.
The Guardian of space puts the rules in place, use what you’re given right now.
